The best leather substitute known to man. Looks and feels like the real thing. Simply clean with a damp cloth. Looks great in our #35 Blazer Bonanza, #440 Bomber and we’ve used it a lot in the #720 Best Bag pattern to name a few.

BUTTERSUEDE (100% polyester) (150 cm /60" wide)

It's just like it sounds - oh so buttery and yummy in new colours. It's a knit that doesn't fray and is sew easy and is so comfortable. It drapes beautifully but also interfaces nicely with fusible interfacing for more structured jackets. It is wonderful as a 6-gore Super Skirt #412 & as a Blazer Bonanza #35 (stiffened with fusible knit interfacing). It would also be great as shirt/top or pants. You can even use it for applique (the edges don't fray).

IRRIDESCENT TAFFETA (60% nylon/$40 polyester) (144 cm/56" wide)

This fabulous 60% nylon/$40 polyester is a 'shot' fabric (the coloured threads run across & the black threads run lengthwise) so that it is a very rich looking fabric. It has a slightly crinkled texture. We usually use it for parka shells, ski jackets, & trench coats! But it's traditionally been used for bride's maids' dresses & fancy party wear.
