machine embroidery on faux fur.

duffle parka. They also discuss the shell, vest and collars. They
also discuss a sheer overcoat made from the same pattern. Guest,
Ron Collins discusses uses for a variety of interfacings. Linda
interviews guest, Barb Adamson about going from the field of law
to the world of sewing.

Guest, Leslie Samson discusses raising angora rabbits for fibre.
She shows host, Linda MacPhee how to create yardage, felt hats and
gloves. Together they discuss the design process and sources of
inspiration proceeding to the finished design two appliqued jackets.

between fashion and home dec. fabrics. They show a jacket, pillow
with mitered braid, throw with self mitered border, and table runner.

Guest, Jan from The Sewing Basket demonstrates appliqued holiday
wall hangings. Linda and guest, Nicole Ogilvie dress up an existing
dress for holiday wear with a quick pinafore. They also demonstrate
quick Christmas decor including pillows and table runners. Guest,
Jonny Seww sings a sewing song.

Host, Linda MacPhee interviews guest, Laurie Switzer of Olds College
about why Home Ec. is dying out but her program is going. Together
they make a jean jacket vest from one of two purchased skirts to
create a matching outfit. Guest, Ron Collins makes a pair of jeans.
